Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • Urad dal 1 cup


  • Onion chopped - 1 nos.


  • Ginger crushed - 1 large.


  • Curry leaves - 2 leaves


  • Green chili - 1 nos


  • Black pepper crushed - 5 nos


  • Rice flour - 1spoon

Directions

  • Grind urad dal with little water in several batches. Let it rest overnight to ferment.
  • Add onion, ginger, curry leaves, green chili, black pepper and salt to the batter. If the batter is watery add rice flour.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Rub your hands with water. Make desired shapes out of the batter and fry them.
  • Move to a serving dish.
